Addams Family Musical Review By Diana Paton They’re creepy and they’re kooky, mysterious and spooky, they’re altogether ooky, but they are The Addams Family.

If you booked tickets at the recent show by the Dural Musical Society, then you would have been suitably spooked but fabulously entertained! Even Thing made an appearance, which was cleverly achieved. The two best performers for me were Uncle Fester and Pugsley Addams. The torture scene with Pugsley and his sister Wednesday had the audience in stitches.

Toby Rowe, who played Pugsley Addams, who is only in Year 7 of Galston High School, performed outstandingly. He had great timing in the torture scenes and kept the audience wanting more. Uncle Fester had many witty lines and hilarious one-liners which were well delivered. All the cast were great, the show was fun and full of satirical energy.

Yet another great performance by Dural Musical Society – you can understand why their shows sell out so fast.

Auditions for their May 2018 Show will be announced shortly and be held towards the end of November 2017.
