After a successful fundraising effort last year, Allie Thackray and the members at Hornsby Model Engineers are once again holding their fundraising event to raise money for MS (Multiple Sclreosis) Research Australia.

MS Research Australia is the largest national organisation dedicated to funding and coordinating multiple sclerosis research in Australia, as part of the worldwide effort to solve MS. It’s goal is to accelerate research into finding the cause, better treatments and prevention, with the aim of ultimately finding a cure for MS.

Hosted by the Hornsby Model Engineers Co-Op Ltd, the Galston500 will have a collection of 5” Scale Model Locomotive teams attempt to complete a combined total of 500 laps of the 1km track at the Galston Valley Railway, at 29 Mid Dural Road, Galston, NSW t raise money for MS Research via Kiss Goodbye to MS. Last year we raised $10,000 for MS Research.

So lets get together and improve on that result.
