Readers may recall that the Development Application decision on the Place of Worship at 1 Larapinta Place was deferred at the last Sydney Central City Planning Panel meeting to give the applicant more time to address a number of issues.
The current DA states: Amended plans and details have been received in response to the deferral by the Sydney Central City Regional Planning Panel for a proposed place of worship.
The amended proposal provides for a maximum of 250 patrons and the primary hours of operation are between 5.00am and 10.00pm.
The amended proposal includes (but is not limited to) the provision of basement parking, reduction of at grade car park, and amendments to the building design. A number of amended or new supporting reports have also been submitted.
The proposal is defined as ‘Integrated Development’ as the approval of the NSW Rural Fire Service is required. The Development Application will be determined by the Sydney Central City Planning Panel (SCCPP) on 22nd August – see above details.
The new planning panel meeting has been reset for: Thursday 22nd August, 5.30pm at Castle HIll RSL Club
