Your Guide to Summer in The Hills Summer Series returns to The Hills with an action-packed schedule to keep you entertained during the warmer months.

Mayor of The Hills Shire, Dr Michelle Byrne said summer was her favourite time of year – and this year there was so much for residents to experience – so close to home. “First off the ranks for Summer Series is A Movie Under The Stars – Presented by Sara Perry from Belle Property Castle Hill.

This feel good event will raise much-needed funds for Ronald McDonald House at Westmead, while providing a great afternoon for families and friends to make memorable moments,” Mayor Byrne said. “Park Feast – a street food lover’s delight – rolls in on November 18 and 19 with food trucks, music and fun for the kids. “And buildings, streets and laneways of Rouse Hill Town Centre will be touched with Christmas magic and astounding light shows that children will be in awe of.

“Shakespeare in the Park is bringing all the intrigue and spectacle of ancient Italy to The Farm with two spine-tingling plays over 22 days. “For the first-time, Hills Shire residents will be able to celebrate New Year’s Eve (NYE) at Bella Vista Farm. Music legend Ian Moss will headline the NYE celebrations together with Splash Dance and Jelly Bean Jam.

“Rogue Traders and The Voice Australia runner-up Fasika Ayallew will have you up and dancing at our Australia Day celebrations at The Farm. “To complement these experiences, a series of new music events have been added to the program including the Red Hot Summer Tour, Get Your Groove On and the exciting Country Rocks Festival Sydney.

“There are more amazing events that you’ll be spoilt for choice – Convict Footprints are up to their antics again, the wonderful Outdoor Cinema is happening at Castle Hill Showground and Sydney Thunder will be wowing their devoted followers at their fan day. “My family and I will be going to lots of the wonderful events on offer during Summer Series and I hope to see you all there,” Mayor Byrne added.
