Back from their award-winning international performance in the United States, Hills Shire women’s a cappella ensemble, Circular Keys Chorus are inviting all women from the area to join them at their Learn To Sing A Cappella Short Course.
As Australia’s small chorus champions, the group travelled to St. Louis, Missouri in October last year to represent not only Australia, but the Hills Shire. They put on stage an entertainment package about Australia’s “deadly” wildlife, which captured and entertained a worldwide audience of over 20,000. At the short course, starting mid-February, participants will learn how to sing four-part harmony, a cappella style (which means with no accompaniment) while discovering the benefits of singing and singing with a group. The ladies, from all walks of life, consider themselves normal women by day, who transform into singing superheroes when they enter the door to a rehearsal or when they step on a stage to perform.
Ann Keating from Glenhaven said “Never in my wildest dreams, when I attended a CKC short course 12 years ago, did I think I would be singing with such a great group of women, let alone representing Australia”. “Walking onto stage with our performance makeup and costume on, you become a star and for many of us, we have discovered hidden talents we never knew we had. The joy I get from being a member of CKC has changed my life”, Ann continued.
If you love to sing and want to be like Ann and discover your singing talent, come along to Circular Keys Chorus’s short course, it could change your life too.
