On Friday 13 September, two Year 12 Northholm Grammar students, Nathan Ho and Matthew Gadd, had the honour of being presented with their Gold Award certificate at a special ceremony at Town Hall to celebrate the 60th Anniversary of the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award in Australia. This was a very prestigious occasion, attended by NSW dignitaries, special guests and the Premier of NSW.
As part of the celebration, the Awards were presented by His Royal Highness The Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex KG GCVO. Both students had the unique opportunity to talk to the The Earl of Wessex, as well as journalist Jeff McMullen, who was the appointed mentor to the table our students were at. Such a wonderful experience to be present at this important milestone in an amazing program.
We are very proud of Nathan and Matthew in obtaining their Gold Award, and thank their families for their support over the years.
