2020 has been a year of unprecedented and challenging times for most of us. Not surprisingly, mental health has started to take a downward turn – a trend which is predicted to continue to worsen. The demand for skilled, effective counsellors is rising. At our local clinic, Pathways Community Counselling, we have noticed this growing need for support with maintaining life balance and well-being.
Our counsellors are graduates or provisional counsellors-in-training of either the Diploma of Counselling (CHCC51015) or the Graduate Diploma of Trauma-Informed Processwork Psychotherapy (10779NAT). Both of these courses are offered at the Galston campus or at a distance through Pathways Psychology Institute, accredited both nationally and with industry bodies.
Have you ever considered a career as a therapist? Now is the time to act. In conjunction with Galston Branch Bendigo Bank, Pathways Psychology Institute are providing two scholarship positions to study in the Diploma of Counselling for 2021 cohort. These scholarships are for local residents aged from 24 to 60 years. Enrolments are currently being accepted for both courses, with teaching commencing early in 2021.
Classes are small, creating a distinctive learning experience, with lots of personalised supervision, coaching and guidance. Our trainers teach how to holistically meet your client’s needs in the method most effective for each individual client. You will acquire the necessary skills needed to work with any client regardless of their unique life challenges.
Studying with Pathways Psychology Institute is a personal journey of transformation. Great care and emphasis is placed on encouraging and supporting our students with their own development, as well as their professional growth. This approach allows for a deeper, more meaningful self-understanding across all areas of the student’s life, as well as the lives of their future clients. Enrolments are currently being accepted for both courses, with classes commencing early in 2021.
